BUNGENDORE COUNTRY PATCHWORK —
the home of Good Country Hospitality and Passion for Patchwork.

Bungendore Country Patchwork

Bungendore Country Patchwork is located in the small historic village of Bungendore, just thirty minutes drive east of Canberra. The village itself is worth a visit, combining the wonderful country lifestyle with city conveniences.
From the moment you step in the door, we offer warm, friendly, country-style hospitality. The extensive range of fabrics and patchwork, related gifts and products are sure to please each and every quilter. Staff member Maureen and store owner Sheryl-Ann pride themselves on listening and helping all customers, no matter how big or small the request.
We focus on selling good quality patchwork fabrics, kits, books, notions and patterns which are designed by local and other talented Australian designers. We also sell a wonderful array of good quality Australian made silk threads and ribbon as well as carrying a wide range of wonderful patterns, designed by Lori Smith. We stock My Heart to Your Hands and Gudrun Erla of GE Designs in America, both of which have very few outlets in Australia.
Classes with accredited teachers are held on a fortnightly basis to motivate and inspire you and the lessons are set up to help all student levels, from beginners to advanced. Full day clases include a wonderful home style cooked lunch plus morning and afternoon tea. We also have a monthly embroidery club, designed to enhance and complement your patchwork projects. Learn about the value of colour and enjoyment of patchwork while you attend one of the regular Mystery Day or evening classes whereby the participants are not told what they will make but we guarantee that each person will have the time of their life doing it!
Sew, cut, laugh, eat and drink with friends — what could be better than that?
